CEBU CITY, Feb 28 (PIA) --- The Cebu Provincial Government
inaugurated today its new Provincial Information Office, two months after the
media department ran by suspended Governor Gwendolyn Garcia was put to a stop.
Provincial Board Member Arleigh Sitoy, PIO administrator, said the office is a realization of a dream that went as far back as 1960 when no less than his father, Cordova Mayor Adelino Sito,y was appointed as the Information Officer of Governor Jose Briones.
“Wala gyud ta magtoo nga makab-ot nato ang damgo (We never expected to have reach this dream),” Sitoy said. (rmn/FCC/PIA7)
