CEBU CITY, Feb. 28 (PIA) --- Student leaders from Cebu
universities gathered at the University of San Carlos (USC) for a summit on
good governance dubbed "Young Public Managers and Developers Summit for
Good Governance."
The two-day summit that started yesterday aims to engage the youths and future leaders and demonstrate how their collective efforts can positively contribute to governance and development.
One of the guest speakers, Philippine Information Agency Jose Mari Oquinena, in his speech said the youth needs to be activity participants in nation-building and not just be an audience.
"Wear your passion. If you want change, you have to be passionate about it," he said. (RMN/PIA-Cebu)
