1st GK Cebu run set on Nov. 25

CEBU CITY, Nov 23 (PIA) – The 1st Gawad Kalinga (GK) Cebu Run dubbed ‘Takbo Ng Mga Bayani” is set this Sunday, November 25 at Park Mall in Mandaue City. 

There are four categories for the run --- 3K, 6K, 12K and 21K. 

The activity is in line with honoring ordinary heroes who will help change Cebu and our country by running. 

All proceeds of the run will go to the general fund of GK Cebu for its different projects including our Sibol schools, health and productivity among others 

Those who want to join can still register at Runnr in Ayala Mall and Toby’s (UG) in SM City Cebu as exciting prizes await those who participate. 

Gun start for the longest category at 21K is 4:30 a.m. while for the 12K is 4:45 a.m. Both the 3K and 6K categories will start at 5:00 a.m.
