LTO-7 receives QMS-ISO award

CEBU CITY, April 25 (PIA) -- The Cebu City Licensing Center of Land Transportation Office (LTO-7) in Central Visayas got the ISO 9001:2008 Quality Management System (QMS) after ISO accredited auditing firm TUV Rheinland conducted the third-party audit last April 10. 

LTO-7 Regional Director Raul Aguiluz informed the Philippine Information Agency through a message about these developments, saying that this is the latest version of the QMS standards being awarded to qualified products or services. 

LTO Asst. secretary Virginia Torres formally gave the award to Atty. Vicente Gador, Jr, chief of the licensing center during the LTO centennial celebration held at the LTO Central Office, Manila on April 23, 2012. 

In an interview, Atty. Gador, said this award was achieved through making everybody aware of their tasks and getting them involved in the implementation of their system. 

Gador said, LTO 7 region will continue to sustain whatever activities we implement in order to continually improve its mandated services.(mbcn/hfg/PIA-7)
