Search for best ‘Bilis Aksyon Partner’ is on

Cebu City, February 21(PIA) – The search for the “Best Bilis Aksyon Partner (BAP) of the Year” is on announces the Civil Service Commission (CSC-7) in region 7.


CSC-7 Regional Director Judith Chicano said that the program intensifies the current thrust of the government in promoting service excellence and total client satisfaction.


Chicano said to strengthen the bureaucracy’s Mamayan Muna Program (MMP) “we encourage all agency designated Bilis Aksyon Partners (BAPS) to faithfully perform the duties and responsibilities incumbent upon them as per MC-6 dated February 17, 2006.

The program aims to recognize the efforts of designated BAPs of various agencies in continuously implementing the Mamayan Muna Program by diligently monitoring and properly acting on complaints and requests that they received from the public, Chicano said.

At the same time, BAPs should faithfully comply with the required quarterly submission of MMP containing feedbacks received from the transacting public, she continued.

The BAPs must also have the ability to manage conflicts and resolve problems or grievances between the agency personnel and the transacting public and must adopt at frontline service operations and related functions as in personnel office, legal office, public assistance and members’ assistance.

The awardees will be named in September of every year, in time for the celebration of the Philippine Civil Service Month, this was learned.

Awardees will be given a plaque of recognition signed by the Regional Director, Philippine Flag Pin, MMP Pin and their names shall be published in local newspapers.

The Civil Service Commission encourages people who transact business with government agencies to report or give feedbacks, either to the agency or to the CSC.

Feedbacks like commendations to those who rendered prompt, efficient and honest service; request for assistance on transactions or requests pending action or not being duly acted upon.

Report complains against government personnel who are discourteous or inefficient in the performance of their duties.

For the public to give suggestions and or recommendations aimed at improving policies, programs and services of government agencies.(pia7/hazel Gloria)
